Private Towing Dispatch Agencies

Descripton

Represents the dispatch function for private tow companies throughout the state. Ohio DOT has created a Towing and Recovery Incentive Program (TRIP), where Ohio DOT provides financial incentives to prequalified towing and recovery companies for the timely removal of large vehicle incidents from roadways where traffic operations are impacted. The TRIP program has been implemented in Central Ohio region, with expansion of the program to Cleveland and Cincinnati. Statewide TMC initiates communications with pre-qualified towing and recovery companies.
