Descripton

Represents Regional Transit Operations Centers that operate and maintain fixed-route and demand response transit services in major metro areas throughout the state. Centers are responsible for dispatching, scheduling and transit traveler information systems in their respective regions. Centers utilize Automated Vehicle Locator (AVL) systems to monitor and report on vehicle locations. Centers also coordinate with Ohio DOT District Offices to share information on transit operations and provide feedback on roadway work plans proposed by ODOT District Offices.
