Description

Agreement to describe the standard operating procedures for Transit Signal Priority (TSP). Transit agency responsible for project will need to define roles and responsibilities for operation and maintenance of equipment installed on buses and at intersections owned by the appropriate jurisdiction responsible for traffic signal operations, which could be county and city public works departments or the Ohio Department of Transportation. Agreement could involve sharing of intersection equipment that facilitates emergency vehicle pre-emption operations by county and city fire departments, law enforcement agencies, and emergency management agencies.
